Flora & Fauna.

At the beach the visitor will find some tiny and harmless sea species, but as part of the environment there is the protected area called the Red Mountain, a reddish sand volcanic crater where you will find birds that are typical of eastern islands such as “el pájaro moro”, “la terrera marismeña”, the stone-curlew or the runner.

Another protected area is the Bare Mountain, a volcanic cone with a crater of approximately one kilometre in diameter, where you find “pájaros moros”, “pardelas cenicientas” and “camineros”.
